Make sure the printer power cable plugged into the
connector (socket) with a perfect power.
2. Make sure the switch is "on-off" switch the printer or
the printer button in the "on".
Issues caused by the lack of power to the printer is usually
characterized by not his lit LED (indicator light)
from the printer, for printers using LED for power
   indicator.
3. Check the printer data cable connection, whether it is
connected with parallel port / port USB on the computer.
4. Try to use other printer data cable (borrowed friends)
   as experiment.
There have been cases caused by the rupture of one of
copper data cable in the middle of the cable so that data
from the computer can not get to printer.
5. If you use the operating system Microsoft ® Windows ®,
and you use printer connected to the parallel port on your
computer, try running the command below in bold in
   MSDOS ® Promptwindow:
6. C: \> dir>> LPT1
7. The purpose of these commands is to distort the appearance
of the command "dir" (command to penampilkan table of
contents of a directory) than it should be to monitor
but transferred to the computer parallel port.
8. Make sure you install the drivers for the printer.
9. Make sure you have selected the correct driver for your
   printer.
10.Make sure you have selected the appropriate port for your
printer. See this option via the menu poperties printer.
11.Try using a standard text editor application for your
operating system to print something (eg notepad).
If the application you can print a text editor, then most
likely the fault is not on your printer.
12.Try to change your printer settings to "Default Printer"or
try to to reinstall the drivers for your printer with other
printer name and change the new installation as "Default
   Printer".
13.Make sure you have sufficient disk space. Sometimes if the
buffer is not enough then the data can not be sent to the
   printer perfectly.
14.Try to change the setting "spooler" to your printer through
the Properties menu printer. Features "spooler" is used
in order so you will be able to run application when done
   printing the document.
15.Check whether there are resources that conflict with the
   port used by your printer.
Use the help of "hardware troubleshooter" in the event
   of conflict.

This case may also be caused by your computer port is problematic.
For find out, if the above steps you have done but did not find
the "point light ", try to move your printer port connection to
another port (eg USB1 to USB3) or try your printer on another computer.

2. The printer seems to print, but there is nothing written on paper
This case is generally caused by the empty printer ink or toner or the carbon end
your printer is on tape. Try to replace the ink, toner or ribbon with a new printer.
Do not forget to check if there is something blocking the head with a paper (eg
plastic seal on a new printer). There are cases on the printer that uses ink, where ink
still in the printer head has been dry since the old printers are not used so that there
closed-head by the ink. to a printer that can be easily removed headnya, this problem sometimes
can be solved by following simple way:

1. Remove the head and cartridge from the printer.
2. Separate ink cartridge from the head.
3. Make sure you do not hold hold an electronic circuit located
around the printer head off because you have to destroy it.
4. Take hot water, pour in a bowl.
5. Dip the tip head into the existing hot water in the bowl.
Notice not until the water touches the electronic circuits
that are around head because it can wrecked!
6. Shake head until the ink is in the head to melt.
7. Repeat step dyeing (4 to 6) above with a new hot water until
hot water The new fixed nodes (not contaminated with ink that
   comes out of the head).
8. Dry the head with a soft cloth until completely dry.
9. Reunite with the ink cartridge head. It is recommended to use
   a cartridge still new.
10.Replace the head and the cartridge into the printer and try
   printing.

If you have do do head cleaning steps as above but the results
remain Similarly, the possibility of blockage occur until the
ink supply pipe. When this happens, try steaming ink channel head
with steam heat to about ink that is in pipes thaw, and then repeat step cleaning head as above.

3. Printed page is not complete or strange characters printed
This case could be caused by several things. Try to follow these instructions:
1. Check the printer connection to a computer, whether the
   relationship was perfect.
2. Check the data cable you use. Try replacing it with another
data cable (do not jump to buy, borrow friends used the data
cable to make sure this damage for you do not lose).
3. Check also that you use drivers for the printer, whether it
is appropriate or not. When necessary, update or reinstall
drivers with the latest version is officially released
   by the printer manufacturers.
4. Check if your documents or data assembly. Error reading data
caused by damage to the print data can lead to incomplete or
   characters printed incomplete.
5. Make sure the settings page on the application you use is
   correct.
6. Make sure you still have a hard drive and memory capacity
   sufficient to write data buffer.
7. Check if your printer needs a maintenance procedure at a given
   time.
For a specific printer type, maybe you need to reset the
printer settings you after a certain usage period.

4. The indicator light flashes only hold when given the command to print
There are several possibilities that could be causing this such as:
1. Printer cartridge is not installed or not installed properly.
2. Cartridge installation position is not correct.
3. Mounted on the printer cartridge is not suitable for the
   printer.
4. There is no paper in the printer.
5. After the paper has not pressed the button that is loaded into
   the paper / resume.
6. There is a paper blockage (stuck) in the printer.
7. Check whether the "door" was closed with the perfect printer.
If the possibility of the above none of these work to resolve
your problem, try to turn off the printer for a while and then
   brought him back.

5. Paper can not get into the printer properlyPlease try the following instructions to resolve this issue:1. Try to reload the paper into the printer.2. When there, set the paper size selection switch according
to size.3. Check the possibility of too much le mbaran paper contained.4. Check if the paper is in good condition, not shrunk or warped.5. Check whether the paper size is the same for each page.6. Check to see if there is another paper which backs up in
the printer.7. Check whether the "door" is closed with the perfect printer.6. Paper can not get out of the printer

To remove the paper blockage (stuck) in the printer, follow these steps:1. Turn off the printer power.2. Disconnect the printer power cable from the connector (socket) of electricity.3. Remove the paper from the tray (if any).4. Open the printer door.5. If possible, remove the printer door by pulling the handle on
both sides then lift upward.6. Open the paper separator (if any).7. Hold the paper which was blocked on both sides and pull out
slowly.8. After the paper they put out, close the paper separator return
(if any).9. Replace the printer door.10.Close the printer door.11.Insert the paper into the tray and try printing again.

7. Streaky printoutsTo printer ink, there is the possibility of dirty printer head. Clean the printer head usingway of handling the case 2 above. If not solve the problem, try changing the ink cartridgewith a new one and leave overnight, then try again to print. Fortype of dot-matrix printer, this case is probably caused by a head drive componentsproblematic. There have been cases like this in dot-matrix printer caused bydeath of one of the driving transistor head. This case had also caused by damage todata cable that sends information to the printer head. If this case happens, like it or notyou must bring your dot-matrix printer to a service person to replace componentsthere, unless you know about electronics.

8. Some of the features promised by printer manufacturers can not workMake sure you use the printer driver issued officially by the manufacturer makerprinter to your printer. Ensure that all drivers are designed for your operating systemuse. Try to use the latest version of drivers issued. Ensure that allyou have fulfilled the requirements put forward by the printer manufacturer to use a featureparticular.

9. Printer to be slow in printingThis case is mostly due to his full memory, both computer memory and memorythat is in the printer. Try to follow the steps below to resolve this issue:1. When you use the operating system Microsoft ® Windows ®
XP/2000/NT, make sure you still have remaining hard drive
space of at least 120 MB.2. Make sure you do not run other applications that spend his
memory.3. Make sure your computer is clean of the "virus" computer.
4. Double check your printer configuration.
5. Try to perform disk defragmentation.
6. If this does not solve the problem, try to compare speeds
print from your printer on another computer. If on the other
computer turned out to be more fast, probably the mainboard
components that handle communication between computer with the
printer you've started to "wear out".

10. Fonts are printed are not the same as that appearing on screen
Do you use the "True Type Fonts"? The use of type fonts will be
produce prints similar to what is on screen. Try to replace
font you use with the font type "True Type Fonts". Check also whether the file
font you use is available on your computer.
If you use a postscript printer type, turn off the option the replacement of "True
Type Fonts "to" PostScript Fonts "via the menu" Printer Preferences ".
Make sure your printer driver is not problematic. Try to reinstall
driver using a name that b erbeda or update your drivers.
